2024 Players of the week!!
Quincy Hilton and Mya Wende
- Congratulation to SFHS Varsity Flag Football Players of the week for October 9th.
- Quincy Hilton helped lead South to dominant wins in their double header at Cherokee HS.
- In the 2 games she accounted for 4 TD’s to help the War Eagles start the season undefeated. Hilton finished the night with 12 catches for 108 yards.
- Mya Wende played lock down defense all night helping to lead the War Eagles to 27-6 and 26-0 wins. For the night Wende had 3 interceptions in the 1st 13 minutes of the game and finished with 3 interceptions, 5 flag pulls, 1 TFL and 1 PBU.
Findley Hilton and Brooke Pate
- Congratulation to SFHS JV Flag Football Players of the week for October 8th.
- Findley Hilton led the SFHS JV team to 2 wins over Cherokee & Etowah Flag Football teams on October 8th. As QB and WR she led South Forsyth to a 28-0 win over Etowah and a tough 9-6 win over Cherokee and a 2-0 start to the season.
- Brooke Pate was dominant on both sides of the ball in games vs. Cherokee and Etowah. Pate had 13 flag pulls, a safety, an Interception and scored a TD to help led South Forsyth to a 2-0 start to the season.
Cameron Brock and Selah Brindle
- Congratulation to our Los Rios Varsity Flag Football Players of the week for October 16th.
Cameron Brock & Selah Brindle.
- Cameron Brock helped lead the War Eagles to a win over #5 Ranked Colquitt Co.by a score of 14-0. On the night she threw for almost 200 yards including 2 TDs , 1 XP and added almost 60 yards rushing. Cameron is a Senior this year and holds many of the Offensive records as a 4-year varsity starter.
- Selah Brindle played strong on the defensive side of the ball. For the night Brindle had 6 tackles, 2 interceptions and 1 PBU. She was an integral part of shutting out #5 Colquitt Co. and holding then #3 Milton to less than 150 yards of total offense. Selah is in her 2nd year on the team and plays a strong roll-on offense also.
Scout Zeitlin and Kaylin Lindsey
- Congratulation to our Los Rios JV Flag Football Players of the week for October 17th.
Scout Zeitlin & Kaylin Lindsey.
- Scout Zeitlin led the SFHS JV team against West Forsyth & Lambert Flag Football teams on October 17th. As QB and WR she led South Forsyth to a 12-0 win over West with a combination of pinpoint passing and nifty runs.
- Kaylin Lindsey led the South Forsyth defense vs. West Forsyth and Lambert. Lindsey and the War Eagle defense had a shutout victory over rival West and Kaylin was instrumental in holding undefeated Lambert to their lowest points of the season.
SFHS 2024 Seniors
- Congratulation to our Black Diamond Grill Varsity Flag Football Players of the week for October 23rd.
SFHS 2024 SENIORS.
- SFHS Flag team has their largest Senior class since the sport started playing almost 6 years ago. The Flag program at SFHS would not be where it is without the contributions of these 9 Seniors. Almost all of these seniors have played 3 or more seasons at SFHS and have helped build this team to a perineal top team in the Region and the State. Thank you and congrats to Mariam, Meera, Cameron, Caroline, Catherine, Chloe, Mya, Mallory and Kathryn.
